What you’ll do

Responsibilities:

• Reporting on team performance and project progress.
• Maintaining good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Implementing and maintaining best practice engineering methodologies.
• Providing technical guidance to engineering teams and leadership.
• Supporting established organizational objectives by developing goals and strategies for teams and individuals.
• Hiring and managing engineering staff.
• Additional duties and responsibilities as necessary.

Qualifications:

• 9+ years of experience in software development.
• Excellent problem-solving, programming, and communication skills.
• Object-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work quickly and collaboratively in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
• Experience in owning small to large features from design to implementation.
• Defensive coding mindset with knowledge of OWASP.
• Passion for QA and DevOps with an understanding that testing is a shared responsibility.
• Experience in SQL, JSON, REST API, .Net Core, C#, JavaScript, relational DB concepts and design, Agile methodologies, and team building.
• Experience automating infrastructure and build processes.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure and event-driven (EDA) or service-oriented (SOA) architectures.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Angular.js, Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, Azure Webjobs, App Services, and Service Bus.
