What you will be doing:

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Guides and coaches the Scrum Team on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers.
  • Gets team to a high performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques.
  • Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines.
  • Coaches the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skillset, domain knowledge and communicates effectively, both internally and externally working within the Scrum team.
  • Works with Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project or product teams.
  • Resolves team impediments with other Scrum Masters to increase the effectiveness of the application of Scrum in the organization.
  • Works with Agile coaches and other Scrum Masters to grow within the role.
  • Contributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.
  • Facilitates and supports all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
  • Acts as a leader who coaches and supports Agile teams assigned to mainly Business as Usual (BAU) work and to a lesser degree, important department initiatives and applicable portions of corporate projects and initiatives.
  • Advanced knowledge of the software development lifecycle and of several software development methodologies Passionate about Agile Practices Experience working with globally distributed teams Experience with processes and tools supporting Agile methodologies Facilitating scrum ceremonies Showcase Servant Leadership skills
  • Plan, facilitate, run the scrum routines (daily stand-up, planning, demo, retrospective meetings).
  • Coordinate the tasks of various team members, manage interdependencies, and remove impediments
  • Prepare, manage track schedules to meet commitments
  • Prepare and manage project budget (Opex, Capex)
  • Support the product owner in creating and maintaining the product backlog
  • Escalate issues and raise flags in a timely manner
  • Track and report the scrum metrics (team velocity, backlog status)
  • Interface with scrum masters / project managers of other teams to manage dependencies and prepare joint plans
  • Shield the team from outside distractions and interferences for smooth execution
  • Coach the team on agile practices to ensure project success Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for initiation, planning, and execution of projects
  • Manage the team as required to execute program plans and SE design process
  • Embrace end to end process engaging project detailed plan following robust decision process in stage gate environment ensuring predictability
  • Be agile in the way to use the process to the benefit of project execution
  • Drive Change management and leverage best practices providing momentum to the execution and build the trust of the team
  • Work closely with Services and Supply-Chain / Manufacturing organization
  • Provide leadership and direction to the team members in a complex shared resource environment, leveraging competencies all around the world
  • Manage the team as required to execute program plans and SE design process

Experience:

  • Positions open for candidates with 5+ years of experience.
  • Product Design Experience: BMS design, Battery pack design, Power Supply Design, UPS Systems, Drives.
  • Min 4 years of experience in the consumer electronics or electrical appliance industry designing electrical end user products, especially BMS, UPS, Inverters, High density power supplies.
  • Min 3 years of experience in program management of electrical end user products.
  • Min 3 years of experience in the direct management of technical people.

  • Knowledge of an agile framework or method (i.e., Scrum, Kanban), or understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices
  • Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques
  • Planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams
  • Work closely with PO for backlog refinement, grooming and prioritization. Work with team to resolve their impediments Facilitation Agile games
  • PC software proficiency (Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of Regulatory requirements for Power Supplies and/or UPS products.
  • Strong working knowledge of tools like Jira
  • Knowledge of FMEA and product development life cycle
  • Broad Product development, parts and process industrialization and supply-chain execution exposure is must.
  • Understanding of the business need as well and proven sensitivity to Services and Quality performance.
  • Robust risk analysis
  • Ability to influence, convince, take decisions, synthesize, and report up to the Senior Management and down to the Project Team
  • Knowledge of Li-ion Battery design development process preferred
  • Prior experience on a scrum team
  • Ability to analyses and think quickly and to resolve conflict
  • Knowledgeable in techniques to fill in gaps in the scrum
  • Ability to determine what is scrum and what is not
  • Experience with successful Agile techniques
  • Ability to work with and lead a team
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment
  • Self-motivation and ability to stay focused in the middle of distraction.

Desired Skills & Expertise:

  • 4 years of project development experience on an Agile Team or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings at multiple levels of an organization and an understanding of facilitation techniques.
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
